By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Livance Distributors  (“the Promoter”).

2. Who May Enter

• This competition is open to all South African citizens.
• Entrants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.
• Entrants must be in possession of a valid South African identity document or passport.
• Employees of Livance Distributors, its affiliates, shareholders, contractors, advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter

• Only entries that meet all specified criteria will be considered valid.
• To qualify for entry, participants must purchase any participating or qualifying Midea appliance during the promotional period from a participating retailer.

• Participants must submit:
  • Proof of purchase/invoice;
  • Full name and surname;
  • Valid contact number;
  • Product model purchased;

• Each qualifying purchased Midea appliance constitutes one entry into the competition.
• Multiple entries are permitted provided each entry is linked to a separate qualifying purchase.
• Participants must retain original proof of purchase. Failure to produce the original proof of purchase upon request may result in disqualification.

4. Competition Period

• No late entries will be accepted.
• The competition runs from 1 June 2026 to 31 July 2026.

5. Prize

• Participants stand a chance to win:
  – 1 (one) Chery Tiggo 7
• The prize:
  – Is not transferable;
  – May not be exchanged for cash or for any other products or services.

6. Prize Collection and Vehicle Conditions

• The vehicle prize includes standard manufacturer specifications only.
• Insurance, licensing, registration, fuel, maintenance, optional extras and any additional costs not specifically included by the Promoter shall be for the winner’s account.
• The winner must hold a valid South African driver’s licence at the time of prize handover and be legally permitted to operate a motor vehicle in South Africa.
• Prize handover/delivery arrangements will be communicated directly with the winner.

7. Winner Selection and Notification

• The winner(s) will be randomly selected through a random draw and contacted via the details provided during entry. All calls and proof of contact will be recorded for quality and control purposes.
• If the winner does not respond within 14 calendar days (2 weeks) from the date of contact, the Promoter reserves the right to draw a new winner.
• Proof of identity, a valid drivers licence and proof of residence will be required upon prize collection.

8. Use of Winner’s Image

• By entering the competition, all participants give the Promoter consent to use their name, likeness, and photographs taken at the event or shared online for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and future marketing material, without additional compensation.

9. POPIA Compliance

• Personal information provided will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”).
• Information will be used solely for the purposes of the competition and marketing communication where permission has been granted.
• Data will not be shared with third parties without consent, unless legally required.
• By entering the competition, the participant consents to and authorizes the Promoter, its affiliates, and any third-party service providers it engages, to collect, use, and process the participant’s personal information for the purpose of administering the competition. Participants are encouraged to ensure that the personal information they provide is accurate, current, and complete and may contact the Promoter at any time to update, correct, or request the deletion of their personal information.
• A participant may withdraw his/her consent at anytime, however this might affect their eligibility to proceed in the competition.

10. Consumer Protection Act Compliance

• This competition is conducted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“CPA”).

11. Liability

• The Promoter, its employees or agents shall not be held liable for any damage or loss to the participant’s person or property from whatsoever nature, including but not limited to fraud, phishing etc…, resulting from participating in the competition.
• The participant hereby releases, discharges, and absolves the Promoter, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and representatives from any and all liability for any consequential, special, indirect, incidental, punitive damage or any damage premised upon a breach of these terms, negligence or any wrongful act, including any claims or demands, arising from participation in the competition.

12. General

• • • • The Promoter reserves the right to deny any individual or participant access to the competition or Prize where the individual:
        • Fails to meet the eligibility or participant criteria.
        • Would negatively impact the Promoter’s reputation or public image by participating in the competition.
        • Fraud, manipulation, or misrepresentation is suspected or confirmed.
        • The Promoter’s decision is final and may not be challenged.  No correspondence will be entertained.
